Started by Robert Midghall in 2001, Murrays has grown consistently over the last 20 years and now operates from 3 sites, whilst servicing some of the UK’s biggest organisations.
We put this down to hard work, a meticulous eye for detail and the importance we attach to excellent customer service which has built a solid reputation in the industry.
This year DPS Murrays expanded significantly with the purchase of KT Pallets and Cases Ltd.
KT Pallets were a family run business with over 40 years’ experience. This acquisition has given us increased capacity and an even more significant presence as a major player in pallet manufacturing.
Providing a wide variety of pallets and packaging products, the company has its eye on the next 20 years, with a strong management team being brought in to manage growth and change.

Robbie Midghall is an experienced business entrepreneur with an eye for detail. It is this obsession with detail that has enabled him to build a successful family business that he hopes, one day, will be taken over by his son Nathan.
Robbie knows that the customer is always right and that his customers need a quick turnaround from placing the order to delivery, and it is this speed of delivery for which he has become known over two decades of business.
He has been known to tell customers “the impossible we will do immediately but miracles take a little longer!”

Eco Awareness
Working as we do with wood; it is one of our key objectives to minimise the impact that our products have on the environment. We operate a ‘no waste’ policy with all incoming raw materials being cut to the exact size required by our production team.
Our outgoing deliveries to customers are made on full wagons and wherever possible and we will combine customer deliveries to maximise the use of the wagon and minimise our carbon footprint for such stock deliveries.
Price, Service and Quality
We firmly believe that all these elements need to be present in every order. If just one of these is wrong, then the relationship between customer and supplier can be adversely affected. Our management, manufacturing and quality control teams work closely together to ensure we settle provide nothing less than the highest standards on every order that leaves our warehouse.
Quirky Fact
Our premises have a fabulous view of the so-called ‘Dockers Clock’ alongside Salisbury Dock in Liverpool. Believed to be unique, the hexagonal design of Victoria Tower houses six clock faces and was built in the mid nineteenth century as an aid to the ships in a very busy port with a bell waring of imminent changes in the weather such as fog or a high tide.
